Mark Adams won for the second game in a row in the Arkansas contest. I’m almost sure he is the first player ever to win two in a row. It’s also Mark’s third win of the year. How does he do it? Mark takes home $70 for the win.
Mark won with seven correct answers in a game where one question had to be thrown out. Which team would have more penalty yards was voided when both teams had 15 penalty yards. We considered that there was a possibility of a tie for this question but decided it was highly unlikely, so we went ahead with it.
Kelly Malek, Tyler Cotton, and Andy Garrod tied for second with six correct out of the nine valid questions.
Game Notes
All 20 of the players were correct in picking Texas to be in the lead at the end of the third quarter. I’m not sure that has ever happened before.
Only two players were right in going under 39.5 yards for Texas’ longest pass completion.
Only two players were wrong by going over 31.5 yards for Tayler Green’s longest run from scrimmage.
14 of the 20 players were wrong in choosing running on whether Texas would have more running or passing plays. Notably, 10 of Texas’s last 12 plays were runs.
15 of the 20 players were wrong in going over 28.5 yards receiving for Trey Wisner. Interestingly, Wisner had a 30-yard reception, but he had two receptions for a total of -7 yards, giving him 23 for the game.
The average score was 4.6 out of nine questions.
