The Over/Under Gamers had a better outing Saturday night than the Longhorns. The average score for the 23 players was 5.8, decidedly above average.
David Frink, Zach Moorhead, and Clayton Frink tied for first place with eight correct answers, sending the game into overtime. In the pick ‘em round, David and Clayton each picked Alabama and Nebraska, two losers. Zach went with Tennessee, a winner, which gave him his second win of the season. He takes home $70 for the effort.
Tyler Cotton, Mark Adams, Mitch Lewis, and Andy Garrod tied for fourth with seven correct.
Game Notes
All 23 players went over on .5 interceptions for the Texas defense, which was correct.
22 of 23 players were correct in going “over” on 6.5 points for the game’s largest lead.
And 22 of 23 players were wrong in going over 1.5 sacks for the Texas defense.
21 of 23 players picked Texas to have more total yards of offense than Georgia. Georgia outgained Texas 283 to 259. It seemed worse, but Georgia had some very short scoring drives thanks to Texas turnovers.
