We had an enthusiastic turnout with 23 players for Michigan over/under, which makes Willie Earl happy.  With eight correct answers, Lesley Bohmann, Jeff Johnson, and Mark Adams tied for first place in regulation. These are standout performances when the average score was 5.6.  In overtime, Lesley went 1-1 with picks of Colorado, which was wrong, and Arkansas, which was correct.  Jeff was also 1-1 picking Nebraska and Oklahoma State. Mark, last year’s overall champion, nailed both picks, edging Lesley and Jeff for the W.  Mark takes home $70 for the win.

There was a log jam for third place, with six players scoring seven, including Jeff Otto, Mark Stephan, Tom Yoxall, David Frink, Greg Swan, and Reed Ramlow.

Game Notes

Just four players were correct in picking Texas for more rushing yards than Michigan. Only five players were correct in going under 40.5 yards for Texas’ longest pass completion. Helen Frink was oh so close in predicting the final score with perfection with her prediction of Texas by 31-13.
