Mississippi St. Texas did not unfold the way most observers, including the over/under players, thought it would. The average score of the 21 players was a slightly below average 4.9.

Andy Garrod and Lesley Bohman tied for first place in regulation with seven correct answers. They remained tied, with both going 1-1 through the pick ‘Em round in overtime. That took the contest to the Mississippi St. – Texas score prediction. Andy called it Texas 45-10. Lesley nearly nailed it with Texas 37-12, giving her the win and the $70 pot. Nice job, Lesley.

Jeff Johnson, David Frink, Zack Moorhead, Steve Holstead, and Reed Ramlow tied for third with six correct.

Game notes

Only one player, Clayton Frink, was right by going under 1.5 for touchdowns scored by Jaydon Blue. Just two players, Lesley and Steven Holstead, were right in going over 276.5 total yards for Mississippi St.

The players get a much-needed week off now before Texas – Oklahoma.
