It was tough sledding on the Over/Under Gridiron Saturday at DKR. The average score for the 24 players was 5.9. Two players stayed above the carnage. Clayton Frink and Kevin Hill posted stellar results with nine correct answers. Clayton missed on both the tiebreaker picks, going with Oklahoma and USC. Kevin nailed it by picking Tennessee and Michigan and takes the win.
The good news for Clayton is that Kevin opted out of money ball, so Clayton took home the $70 kitty.
Mark Adams, Corey Hughes, Tom Yoxall, and Tyler Cotton tied for third with seven correct answers,
Game Notes
Willie Earl placed a house entry and got seven correct.
In an over/under first, all 24 players were right, going over on 14.5 pass attempts for ULM. They threw it 25 times.
Only four players were correct in going under on 5.5 tackles for Anthony Hill. Willie Earl thought he would trip up most players with that question. Anthony Hill will be a first-team All-American, but it is difficult for any player to make more than six tackles in a game, especially when he plays only three quarters. Surprisingly, Hill only recorder one tackle.
For the tiebreaker, only four players picked Tennessee and Michigan. I was very surprised that Michigan won outright.
On to the SEC!
