Kansas State Over/Under Results

For the second straight week we had to throw out a question because it was devised so well that there was no correct answer.  Would there be more running plays or passing plays for Texas?  Neither! There were 37 of each. Last week it was over/under 62.5 completion percentage for Kedon Slovis. Slovis went 25 for 40. I’ll let you do the arithmetic.

On to the results. In a contest with 23 players and an average score of 4.57 Mark Adams, Kevin Hill, and Wes Peoples stood above the rest with 8 correct answers. All three players picked Oklahoma State and the Philadelphia Eagles, which were winners. So, it came down to their score predictions for KSU-Texas. Mark had it Texas 44-24, Kevin was close with Texas 33-26. Wes called it Texas 23-20.  Nice call Wes! Right on the money for point differential. So, Wes is the winner Kevin is second and Mark is third.

Mark will be happy to know that neither Kevin nor Wes opted in for Moneyball, so Mark takes home the loot which is $55 this week.

Other notables this week were Helen Frink scoring a 7 and David Frink, John Spafford, and Greg Swan posting 6 correct answers.

Those of you paying attention have figured out that there were some scores of 1,2, and 3 that brought down the overall average. The names have been changed to protect the innocent. Interestingly, nobody scored 4.

Mike Frank, Helen Frink, and Wes Peoples were the only players who picked Michael Taaffe to pick off a KSU pass. Mike was the only one of the three to spell Taaffe correctly. So he’s got that going for him, which is nice.
